Mission 〰️
Provide our children and young people with comprehensive growth, being part of their academic, psychosocial, and spiritual support network through a practical methodology of Christian principles and values, psychological guidance, and the execution of educational reinforcement programs.
Did you know that having a support network during every stage of our life is fundamental to achieving comprehensive well-being? We are social beings, and family is the primary support network, which offers support, orientation, guidance, and a sense of belonging. But what happens when, for one reason or another, the family does not fulfill this task?
Children must also have external support networks that accompany them in their academic, psychosocial, and spiritual development, equipping them with the necessary tools to face any adversity, generating resilience and improvement in their living conditions.
I describe myself as a person of faith, cheerful, and positive. I am married and the mother of a family. My husband is originally from San Pedro Sula, and although we live in Copán, moving to his hometown was always possible. That is why when we made the move, we decided to carry this beautiful vision with us, which represents a call of faith, a ministry of service to God and the community.
I had the privilege of serving for six years in Urban Promise Honduras (UPH) as director of the youth program and academic tutor. This time marked my life; I learned a lot about the meaning of Jesus' leadership model: servant leadership. I learned that you could serve God and others from wherever you are, using any opportunity to share Him.
During the last few years, I have been studying Psychology at the university, and I consider that my profession is another tool that God has provided me for the integral service of his children and young people who will be part of this project called ''Resilientes” (English: Resilient).
I feel fortunate to be able to expand this wonderful model of leadership, service, and accompaniment to the children and youth of San Pedro Sula, a city thirsty for peace, love, and God.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” -Matt. 9:35-38
