Create a space that allows children and teenagers to explore their talents and abilities through spirituality, play, education, and creativity so that they believe in themselves and dream of a better future.

In our community work, we have been able to see how addictions and drug problems destroy families, dreams, and a sense of purpose. The longer it takes for these families to find suitable help, the more difficult it will be to get their lives back on track. That’s why we feel a great burden for the children and teenagers of Villagorgona, Colombia.

We want to work on addiction prevention so all the potential we see in the next generation will not go to waste. That is why we want to create a space that allows them to explore their talents and abilities so they may believe in themselves and dream of a better future through spiritual growth, games, education, and creativity.

Through our experience with Urban Promise Latin America, we have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that support from AfterSchool programs can have on the lives of children and adolescents. This support, combined with the empowering work done with teenage leaders, helps to inspire and accompany the kids in their growth.

For a long time now, we have had the opportunity to serve in the Centro Victoria ministry in Colombia, where we have accompanied youth, men, women, and their families to overcome addictions and violence and thus be able to reconcile with the law, with society and with themselves, finding a sense of purpose through Jesus.

Looking at the children and teenagers in our community, we think of the great risk they face: being alone on the streets, unsupervised, and without the possibility of going somewhere safe to spend their free time.

Our dream is for each child and teenager who is part of our ministry to thrive and fulfill their dreams despite the context that surrounds them.
