I am a very happy person, almost always with a smile and hopefully transmitting joy to everyone around me. For the past two years I have worked in the arts and communications department at a non-profit in Bogotá called Fundación Tejer Vida. In this role, I have especially enjoyed teaching photography to children and teens through a class called, “The Art of Forgiveness”. I am positive that art and sports are tools through which youth can learn more about God and bring about transformation. I want to continue learning through a program like UPLA so that I am better equipped to support and empower vulnerable youth.
